This isn't one of the easiest skills to showcase. Most of my work has been put all over the place, to make things easier I will list my experience.

Senior Journalist - Telkom Gaming

Full-time employment tasked with creating content for the Telkom Gaming and Digital Gaming League website, from February 2016 to May 2017. Including and not limited to Social Media outlets. Creating daily content and conducting interviews with local talent and players. Boasting an increase of viewership and quality over each month. The company faced a non-renewal of a contract. In 2016 the website showed a 380 percent growth over 2015 and maintained an average 182,000 views per month, continuing even stronger going into 2017 before the contract ended. I ended up writing over 400 articles in my time there, along with social media management and posting for each.

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive Radio

I was tasked with writing news stories, articles and even doing radio scripts for upcoming broadcasts. These games were covered by CS:GO Lounge, with major matches such as ESL One Cologne, Katowice, MLG Major, and many other giant events.

Steam Forums Patch Notes Guy

Not the most notorious role to throw onto an experience list, but I was simply tasked to break down the patch notes in legible English with examples. Cover some small topics, and expand where necessary.

Africa Gaming Central

A community run project, I was tasked with providing tutorials, helps and guides on how to use Discord and all its features. This was a giant leap ahead for the country as we finally managed to get South African servers after a hard push.

I have shoutcasted for multiple organizations, such as VS Gaming and ESL. I have a vast analysis history with esports and can provide critical and clear commentary. Along with experience and energy for play-by-play casting.

EVENT PRODUCTION

I have helped setup and prepare for events such as VS Gaming Masters, DGL Champions, Comic-Con and a few others. From a technical standpoint of computers and networks to a full-on live streaming and broadcasting stage games.

GAMES ADMINISTRATION

Assisting multiple events I have provided input on rules, disputes and helped resolve rising issues in the South African esports scene. Also configuring player and server configurations. Most recently, the FACEIT - Souzen Lions hub.
